Driveway Paving in East Kilbride

The design and landscaping of driveway paving is a speciality of Garden Makeovers’ and is a service we have been providing to clients for a number of years.

Our client in East Kilbride contacted us to request a complete driveway paving service which would breathe a new lease of life into their property through the revitalisation of their old and damaged driveway paving. Over the years various pieces of the driveway’s stonework became loose, damaged and lost which led to a rather unsightly visual appeal to the property’s driveway – more-so when you looked at the well-presented neighbouring driveways.

Garden Makeovers were tasked with a comprehensive driveway design change, with the client giving us the creative liberty to create something truly special. Initially starting with landscaping to clear the driveway of its old features, we cleared the area to start afresh and quickly came up with a driveway paving design which was a little bit different than the rest. We used a variety of high quality stonework for the driveway to create a mosaic like effect which meanders all the way to the front door of the property in a sweeping fashion.

We also got rid of the soil and bushes surrounding the driveway in favour of pebble stones which would eliminate our client’s need for consistent upkeep. Importantly however, we kept their small tree in at the client’s request and instead built around it to enhance the emphasis on it and make it a real centrepiece of the driveway. The final design was one which we and our client were very proud of and it has already caught the eye of a few locals in the East Kilbride area who’ve requested something similar!
